Communications is everywhere. Every occupation has some element of communications in this image depicts all the different types of areas of communications such as intercultural and rhetorical. It also represents different jobs that have it in there such as journalist and television. Any major that you go into has communications and it subjects like math and science shown here. This shows that there are communications within different subjects. Communication is part of society. This piece also shows what communication studies stands for. Communication studies is about integrating the different dimensions and discipline and seeing the overlapping. This word cloud on communication studies depicts how communication is the center of everything the audience for this could be anyone when someone look at this morning crowd maintenance see them position in the impact that communication studies has on other areas of studies.

An interesting part of this image is where the words are placed. This image of communication studies written in all capital letters and in bold and placement of center so that the audience knows what the main idea and the focus is. In the image then there are the different types of communications surrounding it. There are also different path that communication majors take after they completed their undergrad. Having different subjects in the image such as math sociology and biology, paired with the different elements of communication is the creator’s way of showing the connection between communication studies and the other subjects around in it.    

Another important element to the image is the choice of words that were used since there are so many different elements to communication studies it's interesting to see what specific terms in areas that were chosen by the creator. Some of the types of communication that were mentioned in the image are intercultural and rhetorical there are also words that are a resemblance of what communication studies represents. The choice of words such as public recognize dimension encompasses contact these are words that show people what communication studies does and what effects it has on society. Sometimes other universities and other locations preferred to communication studies by other names such as speech communications rhetorical studies communication sciences media studies communication arts mass communication and media ecology. It’s nice to see that the other names that communication studies also goes by. These are not just different areas of studies but also the different names that reflect communication studies.

The word choice used to put this image together were chosen by the usage of       adjectives combining these adjectives together creates a universal definition of what communication studies is the word variety is placed in the image to demonstrate a versatility of communication studies as well as occupation. The word cloud has all the different words in different sizes finds and colors and arrangements some words are placed on top of each other others are large and bold and others are shrunken incise this technique is to add to the appeal of the image to the audience this image can be perceived as having different dimensions to it communication studies also contains various dimensions to it. In communication studies everything is connected to each other it contains different occupations as well as disciplines to one another on a personal level and a professional level the colors game selected for this image uses all neutral colors. This symbolizes that communication is and that is a neutral element to life. 

The overall message of this image is that communication studies is inclusive this is the definition of communication studies and an abstract manner. By overlapping a variety of disciplines in occupations to show how they are all interconnected. The image includes examples such as psychology and rhetorical public and biology. The image has communication studies as the core of which all other disciplines are based upon this image demonstrates how different disciplines use communication. For example the math and sciences use symbols as a way to communicate their message. Broadcasting and actors focus on the content of communication. Communication studies does not have a set definition because each discipline has its own different definition in use is image is showing that communication encompasses all the various definitions and perceptions of how people view communication studies.
